WiFi Hopper allows you to manage your wireless connections instead of using the Windows Wireless Network Connection Manager. If the program is running, the Windows Zero configuration service is automatically stopped in order to allow WiFi Hopper to administrate your Wireless connections, but it has an option that allows you to start/stop this service again.
The program has three different execution modes: network scanning, network hopping, and a connection manager. In the network hopping mode, the program allows you to automatically connect to any unsecure network by estimating its score. In the scanning window, you can select the desired network adapter and the program will show different parameters of all the network devices found: Ssid, Type, MAC Address, Signal power, connection mode, encryption system, frequency, and more. You can connect to any network device if it doesn't have security enabled (if you want to connect to some network that requires network authentication, you will be asked for the key). Also, you can open the signal graph of any connection in order to view the signal quality. The program has a filtering option that allows you to show only networks of certain speed, network mode, encryption type, and channel type. Also it has an option that allows you to test GPS devices.
